What a warm and welcoming atmosphere! the owner and his mother treated us like family, ensuring we felt right at home. the daily homemade breakfast was absolutely amazing, and different each day. the location was convenient, within walking distance of the bus station. We also took their reasonably priced tour, which allowed us to meet other travelers and explore the beautiful sights of Mostar and its surroundings. Definitely one of the best guesthouses we've stayed at during our two-month journey.
Felt like family, nothing to complain about.

The friendliest host family, umbrellas in the rain, homemade drinks, lots of advice, nice and comfy room.
Could not be improved in any way.

The staff at this family-run hostel were absolutely amazing! They gave me a warm welcome and provided comprehensive information about all the major sights and things to do in the city. I also highly recommend their Herzegovina Highlights tour, which was run by the owner's son and offered a personalized and enjoyable experience. the private rooms were basic, yet comfortable, and I loved having access to a little balcony. The breakfasts provided were delicious and filling, and the location of the hostel was perfect for exploring the city. the hospitality and attention to detail were top-notch.
One small drawback was that the windows were sometimes left open during the day, which allowed smoke from people smoking outside to come into the room. This also let in quite a few mosquitoes, which was a bit bothersome.

I stayed at Hostel Mirror for a few nights and it felt more like staying at someone's house than a hostel. The family who runs the place takes great care of their guests and the communal area is a fantastic spot to meet fellow travelers. One of the highlights was the day tour led by a former colonel in the Bosnian army, providing a unique perspective on the city's wartime history. The hostel itself is clean, quiet, and conveniently located near the train and bus stations.
100% Recommend this hotel.

The complimentary breakfast was ok. It was really clean, and the rooms had air conditioning, which was a plus during hot weather.
The hostel lacked a common area where guests could hang out, unwind and relax. It's a bit of a shame because a common area would have been a great way to meet other travelers.
